What You’ll Do:
As a key member of our veterinary team, you’ll have the opportunity to work with both outpatient and surgical procedures, including assisting with the following:
- Performing routine lab tests, radiographs, and administering treatments
- Assisting with surgical procedures
- Providing support to DVMs during exams, surgeries, and treatments
- Educating clients on preventative care and treatment options
- Managing patient care through the pre-operative, operative, and post-operative stages
- Preparing and maintaining medical equipment and supplies
Who We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a Veterinary Technician who is:
- Experienced: At least 2 years of experience in a veterinary setting, with comfort in both outpatient care and surgical procedures.
- Skilled in surgery: Experience with anesthesia monitoring, surgical prep, and post-operative care.
- Detail-oriented: Accuracy in documentation and performing tasks is essential to maintain the best care for our patients.
- Team Player: You’ll be working closely with our doctors, techs, and client support staff, so we need someone who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Compassionate: Our patients are family, and we need someone who shares that love for animals and the human-animal bond.
- Client-Focused: We believe in building strong relationships with our clients. You’ll help educate them and provide support to ensure their pets get the best care possible.
